DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

>> Updated :bulletblue: Your character's eyes must be the color of their kingdom, or a close shade.  Clubs are green, Spades are blue, Hearts are red and Diamonds are yellow.  However, you may make them any shade of their respective color. :')  Jokers are an exception.  If you want a character with a different color for each eye (heterochromia), please send me a note and we'll talk.

:bulletred: Your character MUST have their suit (a spade, heart, diamond or club) somewhere on their body.  Please make it visible, no suits on pawpads, tongues and underbellies please.  They can however be covered up by clothing, as long as their clothing has their suit on them.

>> Updated :bulletyellow: Your character must have some form of clothing of the color representing their Kingdom and something that represents their class (if they're a townsdog, they're probably not going to wear robes or crowns).  They may have jewelry.  Knights may have armor.  Please try to do more than just a necklace or a collar.
**Assasins are allowed with much more leniency to wear more conspicuous colors along with shades that are in between two colors represented by kingdoms (Examples: Orange [Yellow + Red], Purple [Blue + Red], Yellow-green, Turquoise [Blue + Green], etc).

:bulletgreen: Currently we only accept canine characters.  Dogs, wolves, dingoes, or any other canidae are allowed.  This includes foxes and hyenas.  That being said, no anthros, mythological canines or original species.  Please use breeds and species that exist in the real world.  Messengers are an exception.  That beings said, extinct species are allowed (ex. Dire wolf)!

:bulletblue: No modern weapons.  This means guns, drones, mechanical bombs, etc.  Actually, no guns/rifles/etc period.  No magic either.  Midieval weapons are a go. :')  This means swords, spears, bows and arrows, slingshots, handmade bombs and daggers.  And this also means you can use weapons from other cultures around the world, such as shuriken, a dao sword, etc.

:bulletred: No winged characters unless they are a messenger.

:bulletyellow: Characters of an age below 13 must be towndog, no exceptions.

:bulletgreen: A Numbered Royal must have a number somewhere on their body much like a suit.  Outside only please (i.e. do not put them on their tongues, teeth, eyes, etc).  Unlike suits, they may be a little more hidden.  Numbered Royals are the only characters allowed to possess a number on their body.  If your character is not a Numbered Royal and possesses a number they will be declined even if the number is above 10.

RP Related

:bulletblue: Same sex relationships/marriages/children, transgender, agender, any sexual orientation, etc are all allowed! :')

:bulletred: Only the King and the Queen are allowed to declare war, and it must be unanimous in between the two (I'll get more details for this sometime later).

:bulletgreen: The King and Queen may be any gender!  Agender is also allowed.

:bulletyellow: The King and the Queen of one Kingdom do not have to be married or in a relationship whatsoever.

:bulletblue: MPreg IS allowed!  Do not discriminate those who do and don't do it.

:bulletred: IF characters have children, the child's suit is up to you. :')  But it MUST be one of the suits of the parents.  If both parents are Hearts, the child must be a Heart.  If one parent is a Heart and the other is a Club, you may decide in between the two.

:bulletgreen: Pregnancies with NPCs (whether they're NPCs related to your character, or just random NPCs used for one time) is discouraged.  If it has to be done though, please run it through me first.  If the NPC you had in mind is a Joker, exiled, or a figure of royalty, it will automatically be declined.  No exceptions.  This is because if this were allowed, we would have a ton of children with NPC Joker parents, etc. :/    Please understand my reasoning.

Roles

For anything under the "Royalty" category, you must</i> contact me (borderlin-e) for the place.  Applications claiming Royal spots without having contacted me beforehand will be declined.

King
The King is the Ruler with the most power over a Kingdom.

Queen
The Queen is the second in command.  The Queen has a lot of power over trade, commerce, etc.  The Queen may declare war if their power overrides with King.

Jack
The Jack serves the King and the Queen.  A Jack has no power over the kingdom, and their sole reason is to protect the King and the Queen.  The Jack lives in the castle with the King and Queen.

Ace
The Ace is considered a Kingdom's "trump card".  Their duties are similar to a Jack, however they consist more of household chores and they aren't brought along to important cross Kingdom meetings in order to keep them relatively secret.  All Kingdoms know they each have an Ace, but none of them really know any explicit details of them.  In times of invasion, if the invader has made it all the way to the castle, the Ace is put into duty.  Aces are trained to be extremely fast, stealthy and versatile, and are feared almost more than the King or Queen among other Kingdoms.  The Ace, like the Jack, lives in the castle with the King and Queen.

Butlers/Maids
A butler or maid serve the King and Queen similarly to how the Jack and Ace do, however, they hold less Royal privileges than the Jack or Ace.  They don't accompany the King and Queen on ventures unless requested to.  Butlers and maids are trained to appear defenseless, however, they can carry up to a twelve inch dagger so long as it's concealed.

Advisers
Have a little control over decision making for the Kingdom, however, their decisions must go through the King and/or the Queen.  Advisers exist to "advise" obviously.  When a King or Queen is having a hard time with a decision, Advisers are usually there to offer what they think the best choice of action is.  If the King and Queen aren't around, or able to be found, Advisers are the first ones to hear messages from Messengers, which are then rallied to the King or Queen.

Messengers
Messengers are Royals who rally information in between Kingdoms.  More often than not, these characters are winged, but if not, they are extremely fast runners.  Messengers are highly useful during times of war, but are highest priority to kill.

Head Knight
The head knight is the captain of the Royal Guard.  They oversee all activity, lead knights into battle and discuss tactics with Advisers, Messengers and the Jacks.  Sometimes even the King and/or Queen.  Jacks usually are assigned to aid the head knight in his or her duties.

Knights
Knights protect the Castle, borders and serve in the military.  Some knights are put in charge of training the newcomers.

Assassins
Assassins are military characters who are, as you would think, stealthy, fast, agile and kill from afar.  They usually use bows and arrows, throwing knives, poison needles, smoke bombs or anything throwable.  During times of war, assassins are used to scout into enemy territory, and are often assigned to assassinate figures of power and influence in other kingdoms.

Medics
Medics deal with everything medical whether military or in the general community.  They treat wounded knights and citizens during invasion and also contribute to prevention during epidemics.

Townsdogs
Townsdogs are general citizens of a Kingdom.  Townsdogs have good chances of being promoted to a higher class if they show potential.

Blacksmiths
Blacksmiths more often than not create weapons for the military.  If not, they're creating to sell to townsdogs, or both.

Traveling Merchant
A traveling merchant is someone who can travel into other Kingdoms' territories without needing a pass.  Their main role is to sell goods of their home Kingdom to citizens in other Kingdoms.

Joker
The Jokers have no allegiance and are not connected to any Kingdom.  They mainly live in the wilderness in their own camps.  More often than not, they're pranksters who harass travelers and are often considered scum among the four Kingdoms.
Jokers are born without a suit, which makes it easy for them to be distinguished as one at birth.  They're often thrown out of a Kingdom.  A Joker's eye color can be anything, which is another tipoff for citizens to recognize them as one.  A Jokers color for clothing is hues of gray, white and black.

Numbered Royalty
A numbered royal is one who has been born with a number somewhere on their body (they can be anywhere, so long as it's outside).  If they are not born into Royalty, they are recruited into it.  These characters are born with unusual, almost supernatural traits.  Because of their rare number markings, and incredible natural born talents, they have become a treasure among Kingdoms recently.  Numbered Royalty are similar to Aces, but all ten of them protect and serve within the palace more openly than an Ace.  And unlike Aces, they are not kept secret.  They are of a position above the head knight, but below the Jack.  Similarly to advisers, they have some say in politics, but do not hold much power when it comes to decision making on their own.

  • 1 [Power and leadership]
A character born with the number 1 somewhere on their body possesses an unusual amount of power in words, physicality, etc.  They are natural born leaders, and usually serve as the King's "right hand man".

  • 2 [Balance]
A character born with the number 2 somewhere on their body possesses an unusually strong trait for mediation and balance.  2's usually attend Royal conferences to aid in decision making.

  • 3 [Stability and consistency]
A character born with the number 3 somewhere on their body possesses incredible stability and consistency.  They usually are able to pick up and learn weapons incredibly fast with consistent instruction and are very stable in combat.  It's hard to rock them in a fight due to their consistent rhythm.

  • 4 [Coordination]
A character born with the number 4 somewhere on their body possesses incredible coordination.  Due to this, they are usually found picking up things that require "paw-eye coordination".  Teamwork in combat comes easily to them, and they are very nimble.

  • 5 [Intelligence]
A character born with the number 5 somewhere on their body possesses incredible intelligence.  Their IQs are staggeringly high and they are very studious.  They are used as the main tactician of a kingdom, and they spend more of their time with the head knight instead of within the palace.

  • 6 [Identification]
A character born with the number 6 somewhere on their body possess an unusual knack for reading body language.  Many assume that they are mind readers, though they're just able to pick up on the most subtle of hints.  Even expertly trained and veteran assassins cannot hide anything from 6's.  6's are usually brought into situations (such as possible traitors, etc) to test one's truthfulness and honesty.

  • 7 [Luck]
A character born with the number 7 somewhere on their body possesses incredible luck no matter the odds.  No matter how clumsy they are, their luck persists almost as if they have a god at their back.

  • 8 [Perseverance]
A character born with the number 8 somewhere on their body are the most stubborn beings on the face of the earth.  Not only do they continue to stand for what they believe in, they are almost impossible to kill in combat, since they seem to be unmoved by bloodloss, poisons and any other usually fatal injuries.  Their skeletons are incredibly strong, and their stamina is nearly endless.

  • 9 [Impersonation]
A character born with the number 9 somewhere on their body possess incredible impersonation skills.  Not only are they good at mimicking, they can copy a fighting style within minutes on the battlefield.

  • 10 [Adaptation]
A character born with the number 10 somewhere on their body possess incredible adaptation skills.  They are able to adapt to a situation incredibly fast and without a problem.  If they pick up a new weapon on the battlefield, they're able to use it almost immediately without training or instruction.

Note: Also, note that just because the character is a Numbered Royal, it DOES NOT mean that they are perfect.  It just means that their traits are stronger than most.  Just because they're a 7, they are not always lucky.  They just have more luck than most.  The same goes for the characters below.

Now that the ten number cards have been established, there are really special ones depending on the kingdom.  For example, the 7 of Clubs will be significantly more lucky than the 7 of Hearts.  Since these roles have a dangerous possibility of becoming overpowered, I will be very strict with who will be getting these slots as well.

  • 1 of Spades
The 1 of Spades is possesses leadership far beyond any other 1 from other kingdoms.  They are slightly stronger as well, however, because of this, most 1's of Spades in the past have gone insane and mad with power and were killed by their own Kings.  Because of this, they are heavily monitored, and have to go through mental checkups.

  • 2 of Hearts
The 2 of Hearts is exceptionally better at mediation than 2's of other kingdoms.  While 2's of other kingdoms are more apt to mediate, the 2 of Hearts is also very good at seeing eye to eye, though, because of this, they are constantly being monitored for traitorous habits.

  • 5 of Diamonds
The 5 of Diamonds is ridiculously intelligent.  Due to this, they are almost guaranteed to be found contributing to scientific studies, etc.  Unfortunately, because of their intense awareness of the world, many 5's of Diamonds in the past have had extremely difficult times seeing eye to eye with other canines, and have ended up committing suicide.

  • 7 of Clubs
The 7 of Clubs is literally the luckiest canine on the face of the earth.  Their luck extends onto the battlefield, and because of that, they are used as scouts into extremely dangerous situations.  They do have one drawback though, when luck does not strike, the most severe of misfortunes fall upon them, though, this does not happen much, if not, at all.
